Janet Culbertson's
"Eve Defends her Garden" Exhibit

JANET CULBERTSON: OPENING SATURDAY AT The FLOYD MEMORIAL LIBRARY: 3 PM- 539 First St., Greenport, NY

An exhibition of works and a talk by the artist informs us about this contemporary art genre that intersects the worlds of art, nature and women. Dealing with the violations of nature, many women artists like Ms. Culbertson have invented and reinvented numerous contemporary art forms to express their concern about the destruction of nature. Culbertson will give a brief talk and display works from her Billboard series. All are welcome. Open daily through library hours (10 to 5 daily except on Sunday, 1 to 5). June 1st through to July 1st.
